Bizvila formally upgraded to Business Village Development Enterprise status, extends services to supplies

In 2014, I (Eugene Ukoyonoh) created the facebook page, bizvila - www.facebook.com/bizvila/ - dedicated to Mrs.  Edang Yolanda Ekpo Bassey and her then student, Honesty Omon, for their unconscious role in its inspiration, to share practical business information and experiences with the view to inspire enterprise spirit, especially among young Nigerians and to help them start and grow new enterprises.

The turn of events made it obvious that I underestimated my personal time requirement for my business, Globeat Technologies Limited,  at that time of its evolution and so it became impossible to service it. We kept thinking about what to do to fully utilise bizvila's potentials to realise its vision. 

For the past one year we have been studying markets around the country, coupled with out always ongoing market researches for business plan development services. We found out that majority of small businesses are into trading of fashion products. Due to their limited capital bases, dispersed nature and inability to form groups to collaboratively purchase wholesale, stocking costs for their inventories are usually very high, leading to high sales prices, poor profits and inability to compete favourably in their markets. Additional expenses such as travel transport fare, accommodation and feeding allowances further increase their  costs.

We started discussing with manufacturers, major importers and other stakeholders to see how to make things easier for as much small businesses and aspiring start-ups.

We proceeded to upgrade bizvila to a legal business entity under the name Business Village Development Enterprise and set up its team. 

Over the holiday, we concluded arrangements and agreements to launch its operations, and test marketed products on the page. 

I am happy to announce that Business Village Development Enterprise is set to develop a new clime of small business environment in Africa, beginning at home. We are working with foot soldier and partners across the country and more team members are recruited on an ongoing basis. 

For now, from the heart of Kano market, the enterprise supplies textile materials (home made, Indian,  Chinese and Indonesian) on wholesale prices to businesses and customers seeking uniforms on "Order and Receive" basis.
